It is home to a leading multidisciplinary heart team composed of subspecialists including adult and pediatric cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and vascular surgeons.

Thoracic Surgery Services

Our Thoracic Surgery Division manages conditions affecting the chest—including the lungs, chest wall, mediastinum, esophagus, and diaphragm. The division works closely with other medical specialties to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal treatment.

We offer traditional open thoracotomy, modern multiport Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS), and advanced minimally invasive uniportal VATS procedures.

Chest Wall

• Management of trauma-related chest injuries
• Modern treatment of flail chest and multiple rib fractures with rib stabilizers
• Minimally invasive Nuss procedure for chest wall deformities
• Resection and reconstruction of benign and malignant chest wall tumors

Pleura

Lungs

Mediastinum

Airway
